    By Jorgen Jensen, 08/02/2021

During construction members should access the courts at the corner of Central Avenue and Oak Street.

During the week, when construction is occurring, the bathrooms are open and there are openings in the fencing, so our members can get to them.

The bathrooms are closed on weekends.

Memo from the GVPC Board - Update

    By Judi Mosley, 04/26/2021

    Let’s Play!

    Club Hours

    Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday 9-11 am
    Wednesday 4-6 pm
    Sunday 12-2 pm

    Memorial Park Court Usage

    • Social Distancing. We need to continue to comply with social distancing guidelines, and PLEASE exercise caution and just plain good manners when entering and exiting the courts. Wait for the departing players to get off the court before squeezing through the gate.

    • Bathrooms. Please note that the bathrooms are not open yet. We’re working with the City to address that issue.

    • Court Times. If all courts are in use and other players are waiting, each group must rotate off after completion of a game and wait for the next available court. This rule applies at all times, not just during Club time.

All Memberships Extended. The GVPC Board voted to extend everyone’s membership to May 1, 2022. If you paid your dues in January 2020 (or any time since then), your membership is still good for another year.

Drop-In Policy. The Board also voted to discontinue the policy of allowing visitors to drop in during Club times for a $5.00 fee. The Club times will be for MEMBERS ONLY, although we will still allow new players who have completed an introductory class to play twice during Club times to help them decide whether to join.

Ladder and Clinics. Many of you have expressed an interest in re-starting the ladder the clinics. We’re working on it!

Beginners. Know someone who wants to play? Direct them to Victor Simon at 530-205-9752 for a free introductory lesson. We will also be reinstituting Friday Night Lights, a free program for beginners that will be open to both Club members and non-members.

Discount on Pickleball Equipment. Grass Valley Pickleball Club members get a 5 percent discount at Use Code CRGrassvalley.

Questions? Suggestions? Call or text me at 925-285-5948, or you can use the “Contact Us” button on the website ( to send an email.

Hope to see you on the courts soon!
